When is the Festival?

West Set 2022 will take place from 14 October to 30 October 2022.

Where is the Festival taking place?

West Set is taking place in four different venues around Footscray, all venues are within 10 minutes from the Footscray Train Station and are a short walking distance from each other. 

Where can I keep up to date with the latest information about the Festival?

The West Set 2022 Festival Program is correct at the time of publishing. For the latest information, keep up to date by visiting the West Set Fest Facebook and Instagram pages.

What is the age limit?

Certain venues at West Set 2022 will be a 16+ event. So that we can provide a secure and safe environment for everyone, security will be conducting ID checks where proof of age will be required upon entry. Accepted ID for 16 and 17 year olds attending will be as follows: 

  • Australian Photo Driver’s Licence or Learner’s Permit; or 

  • Passport (either current or expired less than 2 years ago and has not been canceled); or 

  • KEYPASS Photo ID Card or equivalent Proof of Age Card (*see below); or 

  • Australian Birth Certificate (a certified copy is okay) PLUS a Current Photo ID (eg student card). We must be able to verify both your age and your photo ID, we cannot accept one without the other.  

Anyone who fails to present an Accepted ID upon entry will not be allowed into venues at West Set 2022 that are 16+ unless they are accompanied by an adult.

Tickets. 

Do I need a ticket to attend?

No - All shows are FREE and do not require tickets but Las Palmas and Chasing Sound have limited capacity so first in best dressed!

COVID-19.

How is the Festival Covid Safe? 

West Set organisers will run the events in accordance with DHHS website and any change in restrictions regarding COVID-19 will be communicated via the festival’s online platforms and via the Maribyrnong Council Facebook page.


Accessibility. 

How can I find information about accessibility for each event?

West Set is committed to making this festival accessible for all as much as possible. Please contact the venues regarding accessibility prior to arrival to ensure your needs can be accommodated.  

Please note that some performances may include lighting effects that could potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
